- Lead guided walks and talks with a focus on Blyth’s maritime heritage and local history.
- Deliver engaging commentary tailored to adult audiences, ensuring information is clear, accurate, and accessible.
- Provide a warm and inclusive welcome to groups, supporting their engagement throughout the event.
- Share key stories and themes that highlight Blyth’s role in maritime and industrial history.
- Ensure participants’ safety and comfort during walks, following agreed risk assessments.
- Gather feedback from participants to improve future walks and talks.

What skills do I need?
- Confident and clear public speaking skills.
- Ability to engage with a wide range of adult audiences in a friendly and approachable way.
- Interest in local history, heritage, or maritime themes.
- Reliability and good organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt delivery for groups such as care home residents or community organisations
- Training and resources will be provided
