If so this is the role for you!
MHA Communities New Forest offers support and friendship to older people living independently in their own homes; helping to maintain independent living, improve well-being and reduce isolation. We are seeking volunteers with their own car to provide transport to and from our clubs/activities located in New Milton
Wednesdays - Outward journey - collect members 1pm from homes, and drive to New Milton Community Centre.
Wednesdays - Return journey - collect members 3.30pm from New Milton Community Centre and drive home.
In such a rural area it means older people can attend activities and day trips, rather than just being stuck inside all day.
Any expenses incurred will be paid and training provided is free of charge.
Please only register if you are genuinely interested. Please ask any questions in the notes section when registering your interest. We can then have a chat (we will initially telephone, so please be aware you will receive a call from an unknown mobile number, followed up with a text message and then a final email). We can complete your application (digital or paper) and finally complete your DBS check and references.
