The role sounds grander than it is!
Our desire is to bring our marketing and media presence into modern times and we need someone to help us do this. Our social media is currently managed by two volunteers and needs updating and given a real strategy.
Marketing is currently very limited and this is an area we have little experience. We draw on some help from local media, but would like to expand this. We are an asset to the town and its leisure/tourist industry and our marketing needs to reflect that. This opportunity could be a great project for the right person and you would start from a clean slate. Have you got the skills and enthusiasm needed to drag us into the modern age?
We operate from Newbury Wharf, but the role would be hybrid.
What skills do I need?
Enthusiasm. Knowledge and experience around marketing and the use of social media would be ideal, but we are looking for someone who wants to evolve things, get involved, come up with ideas and challenge the way things are done at the moment.

Time commitment: There is no set commitment. We appreciate the role is voluntary and would only ask that enough time is put in to produce the results required. We have meetings once a quarter, normally on a Wednesday, starting at 1930 at the Tea Shop on Newbury Wharf.
