Cafe Assistant

- Greeting customers and taking orders
- Preparing simple snacks and food items
- Serving food and drinks
- Helping to keep the cafe and kitchens clean throughout the day
- Learning to operate the till
- Contributing ideas for the development of the cafe
Directions:
From Newbury town centre take Greenham Road to Burys Bank Road and turn left at the roundabout. Turn right at the next roundabout into the car park and you will see the tower in front of you.
From Thatcham and the east access Burys Bank Road from Crookham Hill and follow the road to the roundabout to turn left into the car park as above.
What skills do I need?
- Enjoy working with customers and have a friendly, positive outlook
- Enjoy practical work
- Experience of catering and preparing and serving food would be an asset but training will be given

Time commitment: We have no minimum or maximum commitment and will be as flexible as possible in the context of our opening hours. The Tower is open every weekend and Tuesday to Friday through the week with occasional evening events.
