Brighten someone’s day at our Newcastle Hospice.
We’re looking for a friendly, compassionate Volunteer Hairdresser/Barber to support our service and help us make people feel their best.
This is a wonderful opportunity to use your professional skills to brighten someone’s day, boost confidence, and create moments of real connection.
What you’ll do:
- Providing hairdressing/Barbering services such as trims, blow-dries, and styling
- Offering a warm, person-centred experience for the individuals you support
- Creating a relaxed, comfortable environment for those receiving the service
- Working alongside staff and other volunteers as part of our supportive team
- Availability: 1-2 hours per week - flexible to suit your schedule Requirements
Age 18+.
Criminal Record Check provided by Marie Curie.

- Existing, relevant Hairdresser/Barber experience - Qualified or relevant Certification
