We are looking for volunteers to join our hub and become a Social Session Volunteer!
During the cold Winter months we set up a Warm Hub but this has quickly developed in to a Social Session where friendships have been made and laughter brought into the mid-week slump.
The sessions have grown and are well attended and the time has come to expand our team and welcome more helping hands.
Our sessions are held weekly on Wednesdays and we are looking for volunteers to help between 9am - 1.30pm.
What skills do I need?
If you are a great chatter, can make a mean brew and make people feel welcomed and important then this is the perfect role for you!
There are some lifting and carrying aspects to this role as tables and chairs will need to be set up as well as clearing away, wiping over tables, surfaces and sweeping the floor.
We are looking for really proactive people who are warm, friendly and engaging and can go the extra mile to make our guests feel special.
