As an Employment Support/Job Readiness volunteer you will help our team to support adults in Rainham and across Havering, with improving employability skills, confidence, and progression into volunteering, education, training, or employment.
Your tasks will include: -
• Support participants with CV writing and job applications
• Assist with interview preparation and confidence building
• Encourage motivation and goal setting
• Support digital skills for employability
• Signpost individuals to local training and employment opportunities
All volunteers will receive induction, safeguarding training, role-specific guidance, and ongoing supervision and support.
Flexible weekday availability preferred. Volunteers may support sessions across Rainham and other Havering community venues.
What skills do I need?
Good communication skills
Supportive and motivational approach,
Experience in employability
Administration, Mentoring, or Recruitment desirable.
