For over 775 years, Romford Market has been a place of exchange, encounter and community. This August Bank Holiday, Market Town transforms the historic market and surrounding streets into a 24-hour stage celebrating all things Romford. We are looking for volunteers to join us in a series of 'making sessions' in July and August 2026. You will help create an incredible collection of costumes for 'Suburban Legends'
You will volunteer alongside artists and fellow community members, learn new skills and of make a vital contribution to this vibrant event.
All skill levels welcome, materials will be provided.
What skills do I need?
Everyone from an experienced maker to a complete beginner is welcome to volunteer in this role.
