Do you enjoy photography/videography and capturing special moments? We are looking for volunteers who can attend occasional events throughout the year to take photographs that showcase the positive impact of volunteering and community action. Events may include awards evenings, volunteering fairs, community celebrations and other local events.
Main tasks include:
- Taking photographs at community events and award ceremonies
- Sharing digital photographs with RVS after events
- Helping us promote volunteering and celebrate local achievements through images used in newsletters, social media, websites and publicity materials
This is a flexible role, with opportunities to volunteer at a range of events throughout the year, including the Rushmoor Community in Bloom Awards Evening in September and the Rushmoor Volunteer Recognition Awards in November.
What skills do I need?
We are looking for volunteers who:
- Enjoy photography and have a good eye for capturing people and events
- Are reliable and able to attend occasional events
- Are friendly and professional when interacting with members of the public
- Understand the importance of obtaining consent and respecting privacy when taking photographs
No formal qualifications are required, although previous photography experience would be beneficial.
