Our Fareham & Gosport Voluntary Car Service is entirely run by volunteers. Our mission is to enable vulnerable/elderly members of our community to get to appointments conveniently and economically when public transport options are not viable.

We want to run a well organised operation and to do that, we need to address a variety of subjects. We would welcome volunteers willing to join our Committee with an interest to contribute to one or more of the following. The roles will generally cover our service across Fareham and Gosport though where/when you perform the role(s) is negotiable:

• Committee Secretary
• Safeguarding Lead
• Marketing, Advertising & Recruitment
• Operational Manager
• Fundraising
• Other …

What skills do I need?

Person Specification:

• Be confident, friendly, enthusiastic and motivated
• Creative, can-do approach
• Have attention to detail
• Be flexible and able to work with minimum supervision but collaboratively
• Deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive data and information

Skills Specification:

• Any relevant experience pertaining to the roles described above would be welcome
• Competent IT user of Word, Excel and the Internet
• Good writing skills using email
