We are seeking dedicated, empathic volunteers who have an interest or experience supporting people who live with Dementia in our wellbeing sessions at the Dementia care Hub in Portchester.

The groups take place on a Tuesday and Thursday each week from 10-3pm.

If you would like to be involved and are willing to make tea and coffee and interact with our members with their activities even just for a few hours we would love to hear from you.

The Dementia Care Hub, offers the Wellbeing Group to ten members at a time, it is a safe environment, where our members can take part in activities, or chat, they may just want to observe or join in sing a longs. We offer a hot meal in each group followed by dessert.

What skills do I need?

  • Good communication skills are required with a patient manner.
  • An ability to make a good cup of tea or coffee.
