Help people of all abilities experience the freedom of sailing.
Testwood Lakes Sailability (TLS) is a volunteer-run charity offering dinghy sailing to anyone with a disability. We operate from April and October each year — and we’re looking for more Volunteer Sailors/Dinghy Skippers to join our crew.
As a Volunteer Skipper, you will:
- Support all aspects of our on-shore operations and help train others in key tasks.
- Take sailors out on the water for safe, enjoyable sessions.
- Tailor each outing to the sailor’s needs — from teaching sailing skills to simply giving them the joy of being on the water.
- Sign off progress in the Sailability Program booklet for sailors who are learning to sail.
No two sessions are the same — and the impact is huge.
