We are currently looking for a volunteer to support our Women's Online group as part of our community groups for autistic adults.
We need organised and passionate individuals who can support and facilitate this Serendipity Community Group for autistic adults in Hampshire. Our groups are designed to help autistic adults to meet in a welcoming and non-judgmental setting. We need friendly and caring volunteers to make this happen.
What you will be doing?
- Welcoming new members to the group and help them settle in.
- Supporting members to participate in group activities.
- Helping to make suggestions about new group activities.
- Sending feedback about the group to Autism Hampshire staff.
- Keeping an accurate record of attendance at the group.
- Reporting any concerns to Autism Hampshire staff.
Our Serendipity Women’s Online Group meets twice a month on Tuesdays (19:00-20:30 pm).
Full training for the role will be provided with regular quarterly training sessions.
Whilst we value regular commitment, you will be joining a team, so you do not need to be available for every session. Please make your availability known to Autism Hampshire staff when registering your interest.
