Are you a friendly person who likes to have a chat? Can you spare an hour or so a week, either in person or over the phone?
We are looking for people to join our friendly team of volunteers that help support Rushmoor residents who are socially isolated at home.
As a volunteer Befriender, we will introduce you to a local resident who you will then chat with on a regular basis. Typically, this will be for an hour at a time that suits both you and the person who you will be befriending.
This is a very rewarding role that can make all the difference to someone’s week, and a chance to really contribute to the community.
We are looking for people who enjoy conversation and are:
