We are seeking a fundraiser to help our new group cover costs. Core responsibilities: develop and implement initiatives to increase donations from individuals, trust and corporate partners.
- Researching campaigns to help secure donations
- Raise awareness of our group
- Organising fund raising events, building donor relations,
- Help writing grant proposals to meet aims of group
- Contacting companies for raffle donations
- Seeking out subsidised access to activities and general raising awareness of the group
- Approaching local businesses for support and funds
- Event planning: plan and execute fundraising activities
What skills do I need?
The role requires strong communication skills, creativity and administrative proficiency for tracking donor databases. Administration: maintain accurate records in database to report on fundraising performance to committee. Marketing & communications raise awareness of the groups mission through online content social and local media relations
