This volunteer role as a Digital Group Host offers connection, companionship, and conversation to people who are homebound or have limited opportunities to socialise. You will lead an online group from your own home, creating a warm and welcoming space where participants can build friendships and enjoy meaningful interaction. Full training is provided, along with ongoing support from a dedicated Friendship Coordinator to help you feel confident in your role.

What skills do I need?

To be a Digital Group Host, you need access to Wi-Fi and a smart device capable of running Microsoft Teams. You should be friendly, approachable, and enjoy chatting, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for participants.
