Minds to Media (MTM) is a vibrant youth-focused media organization empowering young people through creative education, arts, and mental health support. We are seeking a dedicated Youth Engagement, Safeguarding & Wellbeing Lead to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment across our creative workshops and community spaces.
What skills do I need?
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee safeguarding protocols and ensure full compliance with child protection guidelines across all programs.
- Act as a primary point of contact for youth wellbeing, fostering a welcoming and positive environment.
- Coordinate community engagement efforts to connect local young people to our open studio sessions.
- Support the leadership team in implementing welfare policies that protect our participants and staff.
Skills: Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection frameworks, excellent interpersonal and listening skills, experience working with young people, and a compassionate, community-minded outlook.

This is a flexible management role. While there are no fixed daily hours, the volunteer is expected to dedicate the time available to fulfil responsibilities effectively. Some evening and weekend work may be required to support events or live workshops.
