This voluntary position is aimed at supporting visitors to the museum.
The volunteers help in explaining the exhibits, talking about their background and role and their importance in the history of Tangmere airfield.
They may also assist in the running of the shop and supporting the permanent shop staff.
Full training and mentoring is provided.
What skills do I need?
Applicants do not need aviation experience but must be willing to learn about the exhibits we have and their role in the past. The ability to relate to and speak confidently to visitors is essential.

We need individuals who are willing to commit to one day per week.
The ability to work a single day at weekends once in every month would be very welcome.
Alternatively, the ability to commit to just a single weekend day in every month would be a very welcome commitment
