The aim of the Club shall be to provide a weekly venue for the over fifty-fives, who are primarily retired and not working, for entertainment, informative lectures, talks, demonstrations, quizzes, games, live music/singing, etc., irrespective of nationality, race, gender, colour, creed, religion, disability or class, towards the advancement of citizenship and community development. The Club meets every Tuesday afternoon in Cove Methodist Church Hall, during the accepted "school term" times. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided during each meeting and cakes too on raffle days (about once per month). A half day summer outing is normally arranged in June and a trip to a pantomime in December. The Minister of Cove Methodist Church is our Chaplain and a member of the Club Committee (ex officio). A mini-bus is hired from Rushmoor Voluntary Services for those without the means to travel to/from the Club.
