Poppins Nursery full day facility available (Ofsted and HCC registered full time Nursery) Term time 9.15am-3.15pm. Poppins after school care is OFSTED registered facility. We collect children from the schools on our pick-up list. Transportation from school is either by minibus, car or supervised walk. We offer a healthy snack and light meal and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities including craft, sport, IT and creative play. Under 5s activities ( Mondays' New Mother's Group', Tuesdays 'Young Parents Group', Thursdays 'Parents and Tots?, Fridays 'Art Time', Playscheme during holidays and every third Saturday of the month craft activities in the Stanmore Community Library,Carroll Centre. Youth activities 11-13 Youth Sessions - Tuesday evenings 7-9pm. 14+ Drop in sessions - Thursday evenings 7-9pm.(Boxing sessions) The Club at the Carroll - Friday 6.30-8.30pm. All youth sessions include games, arts and crafts, cooking, issue based work and much more. Holiday Playschemes are held throughout the school holidays. The Carroll Centre provides care from 9am-4.30pm each weekday, with themed activities and trips, games, sports and art tasks. Thursdays have Job Club 1.30 pm , Parents and Tots, Internet and Library Cafe from 12-2pm, Poppins , 14+ Youth and Under 25's internet cafe from 7-9pm. Family Learning : Carroll Centre runs courses in partnership with RCS for the local Comminute. Library activities workshop (third Saturday of each month). Stanmore Community Library open during weekdays and every third Saturday of the Month. NHS Midwives Clinic, Health Visitors, Baby weighing Clinic and Action For Children are based at the Carroll Centre. Most people come from Stanmore and the surrounding area, but activities are open to all.
