Who are we and what do we do? We are like a foodbank, giving out bundles of essential items to people who need them in our community. We support people who are pregnant or looking after children. We provide free (mostly pre-loved) baby and child equipment and supplies, including clothing, nappies, prams, car seats, cots and bedding and safety equipment such as highchairs and stair gates - pretty much anything! We can help families who are experiencing poverty or hardship, are displaced or in temporary housing, or are struggling due to physical or mental health difficulties. We work on a referral only basis. We support a lot of families expecting a baby and families with young children of any age up to age 11. Where we can, we also like to add a few essentials for parents and older siblings, too. We like to think of how our support can help the whole family, not just the child in question - every family is different and every family matters. We are entirely volunteer-run and many of the things we give out have been donated from the public. Without you, our community, we wouldn’t exist. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Our Mission That children in our community have the necessary essentials for a safe and comfortable life, and that their families are supported at moments of challenge and hardship.
