About

When Thursdays 6.00-6.55pm Cost £3 per week (no need to book, just turn up and join in) What is Boccia? Boccia is a disability sport which is similar to bowls and petanque. The aim of the game is to propel leather balls, coloured red or blue, close to a white target ball (the jack). It is played from a seated position and the ball can be moved with players' hands, feet or an assistive device eg a head or hand pointer. Our club, which is funded by Sport England, is aimed at young people aged 14+ and adults with disabilities.
