Pendle Heritage Centre is a museum and visitor centre nestled in the heart of Barrowford. We are home to a museum on the Bannister family, including Rodger Bannister who ran the 4 min mile and Nicholas Bannister the infamous magistrate who sat on the bench that condemned the Pendle Witches, which you can also learn about. We have a 60 seat heritage cafe, garden hub, 18th Century Walled garden and Woodland walk, gated gardens and grounds. We also boast a wide range range of gifts , souvenirs and artwork over three rooms in our beautiful shop. All funds raised help keep this vital asset that is the start of Pride of Pendle running for future generations. We have 15 paid members of staff and 13 active volunteers, who are vital to our success.
