Little Green Pig is a creative writing and mentoring charity based in Sussex. Our vision is that all children and young people have the space, time and encouragement to write for pleasure and purpose, the opportunity to share their stories and a platform to be heard. For over 10 years we’ve worked across Sussex with more than 5,000 children aged between 6 - 18 years, mentoring them through after school clubs, residencies and projects with the mission of nurturing their confidence, self-expression and creative potential. We work in partnership with education providers, community and cultural organisations with a focus on engaging children and young people who face the greatest obstacles in reaching their potential. With support from our amazing team of volunteers and in collaboration with professional writers, illustrators and artists, we strive to provide highly personalised in-depth coaching on creative writing techniques in all forms that invite them to be curious, take risks and value their voices.
