Volunteering Opportunities with Head2Head Sensory Theatre (VASE)
About
We are an East Surrey based charity offering multi-sensory theatre for the special needs community. We tour interactive, sensory-based shows, pantomimes and immersive learning experiences for a wide range of ages and abilities. We provide multi-sensory and interactive videos on our YouTube Learning Channel for children who, because of distance, disability, social anxieties or disadvantage, cannot attend a live performance. We operate weekly drama workshops, A Sense of Fun, for all ages plus a monthly drumming workshop. We rent out space (studio, stage platforms with wheelchair ramp, sensory room, cafe, kitchen and library). Please visit our amazing Barn Hub, have a drink, explore our facilities, and chat with our volunteers. In addition to the above we also support our local community with the following weekly activities: - Memory Cafe for the elderly, frail and those living with Dementia and their carers. - Dance2BFit exercise class for the over 50s.
