Week in, week out we nourish the hungry and lonely in our communities with delicious meals and great conversation, using food which would otherwise go to waste. We are based in London, but have over 40 projects around England, 6 number of projects in East Anglia including 1 in Clacton. Our volunteers take food from supermarkets and local retailers, take it back to kitchens and cook it into healthy three-course meals for the local community. We work with a number of service user groups from older people, low income families and individuals, the homeless, refugee and asylum seekers. Our meals can be found in schools, churches, synagogues, community centre, and more.
