About

Our organisation supports people who are long‑term unemployed to move into sustainable, meaningful employment. We work in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions to deliver the Restart Scheme, a tailored employability programme designed to help individuals overcome barriers to work and build the skills, confidence and resilience needed to secure and sustain employment. Participants receive one‑to‑one support from a dedicated Employment Advisor, alongside access to health and wellbeing services, employability workshops, and direct links to local and national employers. Our approach is person‑centred and holistic, recognising that many people face complex interlinked challenges beyond unemployment alone. We provide guidance with job searching, CVs and applications, interview preparation, and career goals. Ultimately we are about helping individuals put their best foot forward and achieve positive long‑term change. Currently we are looking to recruit volunteers from our local areas in the South of England to become Youth Mentors for the young people aged 18-24 that we work with. To help them develop their confidence, build up motivation, establish a routine and normalise anxieties about the world of work and education.
