Litter: we promote the Stop the Drop campaign against litter in Northamptonshire, which aims to solve the litter and fly-tipping problems bighting our countryside, towns and villages. Local food: we campaign on behalf of local food producers, in order to sustain the rural economy and to reduce food miles and therfore carbon emissions. Climate change: we advocate action in response to the challenges of climate change; Farming: we support a prosperous farming community in its stewardship of the land; Access: we encourage access to the countryside in ways which do not harm its landscape and tranquillity; Development: we seek to ensure that all development proposals in the county are not harmful to the environment
