We are the leading global charity for type 1 diabetes. We fund groundbreaking research, advocate for access to better treatments, and provide resources to support the type 1 community. We host a series of fundraising events throughout the UK, and this year we have a 5K 'One Walk' taking place on Victoria Embankment in Nottingham on Saturday 10 May. We're looking for volunteers to support us at this event. Although we're a global charity, with the UK base in London, I'm the Volunteer Manager and I live in, and work remotely from, Nottingham (West Bridgford).
