All Wheel Drive Response North East (AWDRNE) is a small registered charity based in North Tyneside, supporting communities across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Cleveland. Our volunteers provide practical help during severe weather, emergencies and community events, using 4x4 vehicles and local knowledge to keep people safe and connected. Alongside our emergency response work, we deliver free First Aid Awareness sessions for families, community groups and young people, helping local residents feel confident to act in an emergency until professional help arrives. We also attend community events and fundraising activities, offering event support and raising awareness of first aid, safety and wellbeing. Everything we do is driven by local volunteers who care about making a difference in their community. We welcome people from all backgrounds, whether you want to volunteer at events, learn new skills, or get involved in the running of the charity as a trustee. Together, we’re building safer, stronger communities through teamwork, compassion and practical support.
