Volunteering Opportunities with 6th Gosport Scout Group

About

6th Gosport (Rowner) Scout Group, known as #Team6th, is an award-winning Scout Group supporting hundreds of young people aged 4–14 across Gosport. We believe great Scouting happens because of great people. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring a huge range of skills, experience and ideas to the team. Some work directly with young people, while others support us behind the scenes with administration, fundraising, maintenance, events, IT, communications and many other areas. You do not need to have been a Scout, and you do not need to arrive with specialist Scouting knowledge. What matters most is enthusiasm, a willingness to get involved and a desire to make a positive difference. We are proud to have been recognised with The King’s Award for Voluntary Service, reflecting the dedication of our volunteers and the impact the Group has within the local community. At #Team6th, volunteering is designed to be flexible. Whether you can give a couple of hours occasionally, help remotely, support a particular project or take on a regular role, we will work with you to find something that suits your interests, skills and availability. In return, you will become part of a friendly and supportive team, learn new skills, meet new people and help create opportunities, experiences and adventures that young people will remember for years to come. If you are looking for a way to use your skills, try something new or simply give something back to your community, we would love to hear from you. Come and be part of #Team6th.
