LinkAble is a Woking-based charity supporting children and adults with learning disabilities for over 30 years. Our fun groups enable people with learning disabilities to enjoy activities and experiences they may otherwise struggle to access. We support people to learn new skills, form lasting friendships and lead fulfilling, independent lives. 

All year we run trips across Surrey to places like local farms, soft play centres and theme parks so that people with learning disabilities can enjoy a wide range of experiences. However, none of these trips are possible without the superstars that volunteer to drive our minibus.

This crucial role sits at the heart of LinkAble’s ability to run varied day trips. Your help will mean that our service users will enjoy exciting trips that help to grow their social experience and ensure their visibility in our community. 

When we need help

Saturdays during term time and Monday-Friday during School holidays.

Trips are a maximum of a 1-hour drive from us with most being 30 mins.

Group will need taking from our site in Woking between 9:30-10:30am and picking up again at around 2/3:00pm to be dropped back at our building in Woking. The driver can stay at the venue/with the group if preferred or can drive back to our centre for closer locations, then back to the location for pick up. 

What skills do I need?

How it works

·       We will need to complete a DBS check before starting, we will pay for this

·       You will need to complete a minibus driving training course with us

·       You need to have a D1 licence
