Do you like the idea of being part of a successful, highly regarded and welcoming small charity supporting local families? Come and join the trustee board of Home-Start Runnymede and Woking where you will be part of a great team of staff, volunteers and trustees.
Home-Start Runnymede and Woking is one of 180 local, independent Home-Start’s working across the UK. Our volunteers visit families at home who have at least one child under 5 to offer informal, friendly and confidential practical and emotional support. We also provide group sessions to support play, parenting, early learning and mental well-being.
What skills do I need?
Don’t worry if you have never been a trustee before and are not familiar with the requirements of the role. No formal qualifications or trustee/ board experience are necessary, and we have a full training and induction programme that all new trustees undertake.

This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.

We are looking for individuals who can commit approximately 10 hours of their time per month, which includes attendance at trustee meetings. These take place approximately every six weeks for two hours.
