Our Vision...
is to launch a wellbeing service offering the clients that we support some much needed pampering treats in the comfort of their own home as for many of them leaving home can be challenging.
You can make a real impact Having someone visit and either cut your hair, give you a gentle arm and hand massage, or to maybe have a manicure or an alternative therapy such as Reiki can make such a difference to someone’s wellbeing.
What skills do I need?
We need to find volunteer therapists who are prepared to give us maybe an hour a month of their time to bring joy to someone at a difficult time in their lives. The Brigitte Trust would of course reimburse any travel and other expenses.
The Brigitte Trust is a Surrey-wide charity providing emotional, practical and social support to people with life limiting illnesses such as cancer, neurological conditions and organ failure.
