We're looking for volunteers to help us engage family visitors in a fun-filled Summer of Play. If you’re in your element talking to people, especially children, and you’re happy being outside, this is the role for you.
This is a short-term role for the duration of the Summer holidays – but you are welcome to stay longer if you want!
You'll be providing a warm, welcoming and friendly approach to visitors in the Summer of Play field and giving them a reason to return, demonstrating how the play equipment works and encouraging play. You will help look after the play equipment, keeping things neat and tidy, and flagging if anything is broken and needs replacing/ fixing.
What skills do I need?
• Full of enthusiasm and enjoy engaging and inspiring visitors of all ages but especially children
• Happy to spend time outdoors
• Available between 19 July and 4 September
• Someone who loves meeting people and being part of a team
• Looking for new experiences
• Wanting to utilise your communication skills or develop them further
• Someone who enjoys a busy environment
• Cheerful even when it is a bit hectic
