This opportunity will involve joining a team of other volunteers running and developing the project and supervising small groups of mostly older men with different abilities focusing on woodworking projects. Currently we are building barn owl boxes for West Berkshire Countryside Society. These groups will not exceed 5 individuals at any given time in our workshop. The sessions run for 1 hour 30 minutes from 10.30am several mornings each week. It is envisaged that the scope of the project will grow and expand over time. The safety of everyone taking part is of paramount importance and all participants receive induction and training. The workshop is run as a club with shared roles and responsibilities.
