Are you aged 18–30 and passionate about nature, community, or making a difference? This is an exciting opportunity to join the Board of Trustees at Northumberland Wildlife Trust and help shape the future of wildlife conservation in our region.

You’ll start by shadowing current trustees in Spring/Summer 2026 with full mentoring and support, before becoming a voting trustee from October 2026. 

 Apply by 9am, Tuesday 6th January.

Complete application form, which includes your personal details and sharing a short written statement or a 2-minute video. 

Open to those living in or with links to Newcastle, North Tyneside or Northumberland.

The trustee role is designed to be compatible with a full-time job/further education and/or caring responsibilities, with a commitment to attending 8-11 meetings per year, typically in the evening and online. 

This is your chance to gain leadership experience, grow your network, and make a real impact.
