Support Engaging Activities for Adults with Disabilities in Camberley
Disability Initiative is a leading charity supporting adults with physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries, based in a fully accessible centre near Camberley town centre. Volunteers are key to delivering a varied programme of activities — from cookery and computer sessions to music, crafts, and community outings. You’ll help clients participate in group sessions or one-on-one, offering practical support, encouragement, and friendly interaction.
Whether you're helping with creative classes, light admin, or just sharing conversation, your time will directly enrich someone’s day and contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment.
Volunteers are needed to support staff in delivering activities designed for each individual's needs and to generally help with the running of the day centre.
Disability Initiative is especially interested in volunteers who have any of the following abilities:
Cooking Art / Pottery / Ceramics Keep Fit Debating/ Discussion
Information technology Music /Singing Reflexology/ Massage/ Aromatherapy
And are also friendly and understanding of people with different needs.

Volunteers can spend the whole day at the centre or just assist for a session, approx 1-2 hours.
