Join Sparklers as a Trustee! 
Make a real difference in the lives of children, young people and families with additional needs.

Sparklers is a local charity dedicated to supporting individuals with additional needs and their families through events, playgroups, and outreach. We are currently looking to welcome new trustees to our friendly and committed board.

What does a trustee do?
Our trustees help oversee the strategic direction of Sparklers and ensure that the charity’s assets and efforts are used responsibly to benefit the community we serve.

What’s the commitment?

• Minimum age: 18+
  
• Term: Up to 3 years
  
• Quarterly board meetings (approx. 4 per year)
  
• Support events (if available)
  
• Volunteer a couple of hours per month as needed

What skills do I need?

We would love to hear from you if you have a passion for supporting children and young people with special needs and any of the following skills:

• Legal expertise
  
• Financial/accounting background
  
• IT, admin or website management skills
