The Conservatory Club is a small club run for people with memory difficulties to help them retain their communication and social skills: it is open from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday and we welcome up to 8 members daily.
We operate in a relaxed and friendly manner and welcome volunteers who would be able to give their time. We would consider half a day of 2 or 3 hours for a shared day.
However, it would be helpful if a volunteer could offer one day a week to help the Club Manager run activities such as quizzes, jigsaws, board & card games, crafts and general conversation for and with our members.
We meet in a conservatory attached to the Fairfield Centre in Leatherhead: lunch and refreshments are provided and expenses reimbursed.
