MTC Together is a befriending service for people with a learning disability, who are registered with the Mencap Trust Company. We have a gentleman in Merstham who would love someone to come and see him once a month.

He loves music and old tv shows like Star Trek, Only Fools and Horses, Crossroads, Blue Peter and Doctor Who.

He loves a coffee and a treat (usually chocolate related!) and a chat, and would love someone to come and see him for one every month! He also really enjoys jigsaws, and would definitely be happy if you happened to bring him one to do on your visit.

Visits will be monthly, and initially will be in the home - with the potential of going out for a coffee together locally once you are comfortable with each other. We especially welcome applications from women.

The service matches the skills and interests of passionate befrienders with the specific needs, hobbies and interests of the people we visit.
