Solent MS Therapy Centre is a small, self-funding charity based in the north of Portsmouth that offers support and therapies to people living with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions. We offer Oxygen Therapy, Physiotherapy and a wide range of Complementary Therapies and a welcoming and friendly environment for Centre Members. We offer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to help with the symptoms of these conditions and this vacancy is for a Volunteer Oxygen Chamber Operator. Full training will be provided.
What skills do I need?
We are looking for a reliable person who is able to volunteer on Wednesday afternoons on an ongoing basis. (We are also recruiting for bank operators to cover sickness and holiday so if you would like to train in order to be able to offer occasional cover then do please get in touch). The role requires someone friendly and welcoming, reliable and punctual with good attention to detail, and accurate record keeping. The suitable applicant must be willing and able to get in and out of the chamber in order to clean and also to help other people in and out of the chamber who may be using walking aids or wheelchairs.
