Volunteer fundraising and admin roles

We are looking for an admin volunteer ideally 1 day per week / fortnight to support our busy family centre, at The Elizabeth Foundation in Cosham. The fundraising and admin team is central to ensuring that we can fund and deliver the charity's critical education and communication services for deaf children and families.
Tasks include data entry, basic research (searching google etc), filing, cash counting, proof reading documents, helping to set up events at our family centre, adding information to visitor boards, letter writing etc.
You will be part of a small but dedicated team, supported to learn new tasks and use word /excel and our database.
What skills do I need?
- Excellent written English - able to compose and proof read letters before issue
- Strong verbal communication skills - willing to make phone calls, greet guests and support staff and other volunteers delivering presentations
- Confident to take on admin tasks under supervision and on your own
- Strong attention to detail, with good numeracy skills
- Able to confidently use basic IT programmes such as word and excel
- Would ideally suit someone who has been part of a busy office environment, looking to share their skills and expertise.
