Are you technically minded?
Volunteer Sound Engineers help by carrying out the following tasks:
1) Operating and controlling recording equipment to produce a 60 minute audio cassette tape or memory stick as directed by our Talking Newspaper Producer.
2) Reproducing approximately 350 copies from the master tape using fast recording machines.
Recording takes place every other Tuesday evening. You will be part of a team of volunteers and will carry out your tasks on a rota basis.
Training on operating the equipment will be given by existing volunteers.
