Fratton Together Pantry are looking for a few volunteers to help out with the running of the food pantry on Tuesdays. There are two shifts to choose between either between 1-3.30pm or 3.30-6pm.
The food pantry is open to any Fratton residents and members can get £20+ worth of food for £5.
It has the feel of a mini shop, with shelves of donated food, a fridge and freezer area and fresh produce.
Volunteers would:
- be happy to work with the public, chatting while they're waiting their turn to shop,
- helping with the shopping process,
- keeping the shelves and store room tidy
- restocking and unpacking food donations
- be fit and able to use stairs to storage area
Process:

- over 18 years
- fit and able to lift and carry products from our upstairs storage area (not essential but desirable )
- happy to chat with the public
- Fit and able to spend the shift on their feet helping our members with shopping.
