This is an interesting and important role in this small charity, supporting vulnerable and isolated children and families to cope, gain confidence and develop their own skills to deal with a wide range of issues and challenges. They have recently celebrated 28 years of providing support.
They are looking for a Treasurer to join the Board of Trustees . The treasurer role will take the lead within the Board for financial management and undertake the regular, required treasurer tasks.
This voluntary role will support the charity to develop strong financial strategy, reporting to the Board, ensuring financial controls are in place, and helping to secure funding. Becoming a trustee is one of the most powerful ways you can contribute, bringing social value to your local community while using and building a wealth of skills. The work being done by Home-Start trustees has never been more important as families experience increasing pressures and challenges. Everyone brings something different to being a Trustee.
