Memory Club Group Volunteer
You will be redirected to the Community Action Northants website to express your interest.
- Assist staff to set up and clear away venue
- Meet and greet attendees
- Make refreshments
- Interact with group members both Carers and those living with Dementia during activities
- Activities include crafts, games, seated exercises and quizes

Why volunteer's are needed:
Many people can feel anxious about attending a group being met by a friendly face helps help put people at ease and to make the group a welcoming supportive environment.
What skills do I need?
Have some knowledge of Dementia, this can be lived experience enables a volunteer to understand and fully support both the Carers and those living with Dementia within the group.
- Empathy
- Able to talk to all members and non-judgmental
- Any specialist interests e.g. art, craft, quizzes, exercise would be valuable to support staff and attendees with group activities
