Do you have a couple of hours a week to spare to help in our reception/office? 

Here at the Volunteer Centre in Daventry, as well as supporting people to find volunteer roles , there are a number of community projects including a Community Cafe for older people that run from the Centre.

We are looking for a volunteer to help support us by dealing with phone calls and enquiries and welcoming visitors to the Centre as well as some admin tasks that may include emails, shredding, replenishing leaflets.  The environment is very friendly and supportive and we would welcome help on a Thursday morning. This role would be a good opportunity for someone looking to support charities and/ or gain some admin skills.

What skills do I need?

• Comfortable and able to be part of a team at the Volunteer Centre
• Friendly and helpful approach
• Some basic knowledge of IT, eg using a computer
• Admin/ reception skills desirable but not essential
