Our Volunteers provide a support service to men who have recently left prison and are accommodated in one of our residential settings. Based in the Elswick area (address confidential until recruitment complete)
You will be required to build trusting and respectful relationships with residents living at the premises, to ensure they can build confidence and re-build their lives for a promising future.
This involves working directly with clients and staff to ensure the most effective support is being provided for clients.
The role involves supporting the team in providing group and individual sessions for individuals through activities or one to one mentoring.
It also includes supporting clients with sign posting around any life challenges such as
Hours: Minimum of 2 hours per week, with flexibility based on volunteer availability and participant needs.
Duration: Minimum commitment of 12 months to ensure consistency and reliability in feedback collection.
