We are looking for volunteers to join our Save the Children Shop Teams! Whether you can give a few hours a week, or a couple of days, your time will make a real difference.

No experience needed — just good vibes and a can-do attitude! It’s a great way to:

• Meet new people
• Build your CV
• Learn new skills / share existing knowledge
• Give back to the community
• Have fun whilst making a difference!

We welcome everyone over the age of 18 — students, school leavers, friends looking to volunteer together, people wanting to support their local community, people wanting to fit flexible volunteering around shift work — all you need is some free time and a willingness to get stuck in.

You can get involved in customer service, visual merchandising, sorting and organising donated treasures and volunteering as part of a wonderfully diverse and welcoming team!

What skills do I need?

We welcome applications from people with a wide range of skills and experiences. You don’t need any retail or shop experience as full training will be provided. We offer training in a variety of learning methods, so you can learn in your preferred way - in person, via our accessible How To guides and via an interactive games app. What’s important to us is that you are a team player, open to learning and will to follow Save the Children’s policies as well as be an excellent representative for Save the Children.

We know that our shop teams are stronger when they are inclusive and representative of their communities. Everybody can make a real difference. People come to us for all sorts of reasons, from all backgrounds, we will do what we can to find a role which works for you.
